Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Category Strategy & Innovation: Define the long-term global strategy for the Cooking category and identify disruptive opportunities to grow market share.
  • Portfolio Management: Own the lifecycle of the global cooking portfolio, driving growth and innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a matrix team of Designers, Project Leaders (PLO), Engineers, and Brand Marketers to move ideas from concept to production.
  • Consumer Centricity: Use global consumer insights and trends to define product definitions that deliver on KitchenAid’s brand promise.
  • Global Launch Coordination: Coordinate go-to-market and launch plans with regional teams, ensuring localization, in-market execution, and brand consistency.
  • WPD Governance: Drive the Whirlpool Product Development process for the cooking category, ensuring tollgates are met on time, budget, and quality.
  • Financial & Business Case Accountability: Meet global cost, margin, and profitability targets and present compelling business cases to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in consumer-facing brands.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Development, Brand Management and/or Merchandising.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated success leading and influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience managing or launching products in the Small Domestic Appliance (SDA) or consumer electronics sectors (specifically cooking categories).
  • Proven track record of managing a global or multi-regional product portfolio.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience building business cases and monitoring product P&Ls.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence up, down, and across the organization.
