Founding GTM

Responsibilities

• As a Founding GTM hire, you’ll be responsible for building our outbound pipeline, defining our early GTM playbook, and driving the first meaningful waves of revenue.
• You’ll work directly with the founders, own top-of-funnel outreach and lead generation, and lay the foundation for what Kaizen’s sales motion will look like as we scale.
• Target ideal customers in industries like logistics, healthcare, finance, etc. — research companies, build ideal-customer profiles, and map buyer personas.
• Create and run outbound campaigns (email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, calls) to build early pipeline and generate qualified leads.
• Cold-call and follow up on leads — you’re not afraid to pick up the phone.
• Run discovery calls and coordinate product demos (with founders or engineering as needed).
• Define repeatable processes and documentation: outreach cadences, qualification criteria, demo scheduling, hand-offs — everything involved in an outbound GTM motion.
• Work with the founders to refine positioning, messaging, and ICP (ideal customer profile) based on real customer feedback and outreach learnings.
• As we grow: take full ownership of the sales cycle — from initial contact to close — and help structure the sales org for scale.
