Communications Lead (Communications Rep 5) - 30813

Responsibilities

• Perform policy analysis in support of GVSC, including reviewing and evaluating legislative and policy developments that may affect Army ground vehicle research and development.
• Support engagement with key legislative, state, local, and industry stakeholders.
• Prepare meeting materials, talking points, background summaries, and follow-up actions.
• Assist with budget and appropriations coordination, including activities related to the President’s Budget.
• Manage tracking and coordination of stakeholder reporting requirements and information requests.
• Develop briefs, fact sheets, correspondence, and communication products.
• Support planning and execution of external stakeholder visits.
• Assist in maintaining internal processes, templates, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned; travel may be required.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain
• 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
• Strong written communication skills, including briefs and summaries.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and meet deadlines.
• Professional communication with senior leaders, government officials, and key stakeholders.
• Ability to organize technical, programmatic, budget, and legislative information.
• High attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information.

Preferred

• Knowledge of industry practices, processes, and standards.
• Proficiency with office software including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
