We are seeking an experienced Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to partner closely with the CEO and executive team to define, execute, and continuously refine the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Role Overview

The Chief Strategy Officer will be responsible for shaping corporate strategy, driving high-impact strategic initiatives, and supporting major business decisions including market expansion, partnerships, M&A, and organizational scaling. This role requires strong analytical rigor, executive presence, and the ability to translate strategy into execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s long-term corporate strategy aligned with shareholder and board objectives
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, new markets, and business models
• Drive strategic planning, annual operating plans, and OKR frameworks across the organization
• Lead strategic initiatives such as M&A, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and capital allocation analysis
• Conduct market intelligence, competitive analysis, and scenario planning to support executive decision-making
• Serve as a key liaison with Hillhouse Capital, board members, and external stakeholders
• Build and mentor a high-performing strategy or corporate development team
• Ensure strategic priorities translate into measurable execution across business units

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, investment, or senior operating roles
• Prior experience in private equity / venture-backed companies, investment firms, or high-growth environments strongly preferred
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business judgment capabilities
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive and board level
• Experience working with global teams and operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
