Brand Ambassador

Responsibilities

• Represent 5x5 Brewing Co. at tastings, festivals, community events, retail locations, bars, restaurants, and promotional events throughout the RGV.
• Engage customers and turn a simple beer tasting into a memorable introduction to the 5x5 brand.
• Know our beers and their stories, from Los Vaqueros and FUBARR to Moore Field and Brunette Bombshell, and help customers find the beer that\'s right for them.
• Share the story behind 5x5, including our veteran roots, South Texas connection, and commitment to the local community.
• Build positive relationships with retail partners, bar and restaurant staff, event organizers, and customers.
• Help execute tastings, promotions, beer launches, special events, and other field marketing activities.
• Capture photos, video, customer reactions, and other content from the field for use on 5x5 social media channels.
• Gather feedback from customers and accounts and report what you\'re seeing, hearing, and drinking back to the team.
• Keep displays, promotional materials, signage, and 5x5 merchandise looking sharp and on-brand.
• Be willing to jump in where needed. We\'re a small brewery, and occasionally the mission changes.

Requirements

• You\'re good with people. You can strike up a conversation with just about anyone and make them feel welcome.
• You\'re dependable. If you\'re assigned to an event or account, the team knows you\'ll be there, prepared and ready to go.
• You can tell a good story. You don\'t need to sound like a beer encyclopedia. You need to make people excited about what they\'re drinking and the people behind it.
• You care about the details. How the table looks, how the beer is presented, and how customers are treated all matter.
• You know the RGV. Familiarity with the McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, and greater Rio Grande Valley community is a big plus.
• You like craft beer. Beer knowledge is helpful, but curiosity and a willingness to learn are more important.
• You\'re comfortable creating content. You don\'t need to be a professional photographer, but you should be comfortable grabbing a good photo or short video from an event.
• You\'re flexible. Beer doesn\'t operate exclusively Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. This position will include evenings, weekends, festivals, and special events.
• You have reliable transportation. You\'ll need to travel to accounts and events throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, sales, events, promotions, or the beer/beverage industry is a plus, but the right personality and work ethic matter more.
