Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Development Office, producing compelling communications materials including donor stories, alumnae newsletters, and campaign collateral.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity across all communication platforms and materials, including oversight and management of the School's digital presence.
  • Develop and execute strategic media plans and advertising campaigns across digital and print media to support student enrollment initiatives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent marketing and communications projects, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
  • Create high-impact written, visual, and digital content that advances Holton’s strategic narrative and engages key audiences.
  • Collaborate as a trusted communications advisor with academic and operational departments across campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in marketing and communications.
  • Proven expertise in branding, strategic messaging, digital advertising, social media, publication development and project management,
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated experience with, or strong understanding of, philanthropic communications and development office workflows.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Prior experience in an independent school environment or a passion for working in an all-girls, mission-driven educational institution.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in graphic design and/or videography is preferred.
