Account Director

An ideal candidate is highly collaborative and endlessly curious about the intersection of people, technology, and culture in work, health, and play. The Account Director (AD) is a strategic communicator who drives core elements of integrated communications for B2B and B2C technology clients. At Racepoint, you will help teams succeed on significant client projects and remits with support from senior leadership, and serve as a driver and trusted advisor for day-to-day program elements with your clients. You will embrace your role as an emerging leader in the agency by managing, coaching, and championing Racers to growth and success while leveraging your skills as a writer with experience in content development and content strategy.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUILD + LEAD CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAMS

• Own and drive emerging client accounts and projects.
• Manage day-to-day activities on projects and accounts.
• Anticipate trends and prepare proactive strategies to help clients succeed.
• Generate creative ideas for integrated programming across earned, owned, and paid channels.
• Deliver strategic communications plans and programs using Racepoint’s strategic planning process.

MEDIA INFLUENCER + ANAYLST RELATIONS

• Utilize network to create and maximize client coverage, advising clients and teams on potential narrative, storytelling, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Share extensive knowledge of the media landscape with team members.
• Measure the ROI of communications activities.

CLIENT STORYTELLING

• Draft client narratives and key messages.
• Develop client and executive narrative and thought leadership platforms.
• Write a range of compelling content for internal and external audiences to be shared across owned, earned, and paid channels.

This role follows a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days per week in-office and/or in-person opportunities for team collaboration, industry or networking events, and client or new business meetings. These expectations may evolve over time.
