Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Direct strategic planning, program development/execution, and measurement for FIFA World Cup 2026 program
  • Develop strategic integrated programming across channels, focusing on experiential engagement with fans and communities for FIFA World Cup 2026
  • Oversee the development of activation plans, budgets, and program recaps; support client scopes of work
  • Counsel clients on FIFA World Cup 2026 soccer nuances for strategic planning and program development
  • Provide consultative guidance on client/vendor status calls during planning, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Oversee the management and professional development of the FIFA Experiences team
  • Close alignment and collaboration with our internal integrated FIFA team
  • Represent Octagon on cross-agency forums as an experiential SEM

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of work with an agency, brand, or property on world-class experiential programs in global sports/FIFA
  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator adaptable to varied audiences
  • A strategic, collaborative approach to solving problems and influencing teams
  • Proven track record cultivating positive agency, client, vendor, and property relationships
  • Existing relationships with production/fabrication vendors
  • Substantive experience overseeing event production processes from briefing through execution
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively domestically and internationally (20-45%); valid US passport required
