Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a strong community of influencers, tastemakers, and professional stylists around the brand
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with creators, agents, and stylists, building real affinity and trust over time
  • Own and drive the influencer program across both paid and earned — structuring partnerships that deliver reach, engagement, and conversion
  • Lead paid partnerships end to end, including partner identification, negotiation, briefing, execution, and performance tracking
  • Develop and execute a consistent seeding strategy that keeps the brand in the hands of the right people and builds ongoing momentum
  • Create and oversee community-driven activations, events, and experiences that deepen relationships and expand brand presence
  • Activate the brand across key cultural moments, including editorial, red carpet, and stylist-led opportunities
  • Partner closely with brand, social, PR, and retail teams to ensure influencer efforts are fully integrated into broader campaigns and commercial priorities
  • Own performance tracking and analytics across influencer efforts, including EMV, reach, engagement, affiliate, and conversion — using tools such as Tribe Dynamics/CreatorIQ to measure impact and guide strategy
  • Maintain strong system hygiene across influencer platforms and databases, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and visibility into performance over time
  • Manage influencer budgets and use performance insights to optimize spend, scale what's working, and drive EMV and overall program growth

Requirements

  • 5+ years in influencer marketing, with meaningful experience in beauty, hair, or prestige consumer brands
  • Established relationships across the creator, talent management, and professional stylist landscape — you know the right people and they know you
  • Hands-on experience across the full influencer mix: paid partnerships, organic seeding, events and activations, and creator commerce
  • Proven taste in casting and curation — you know how to build a creator roster that feels intentional and drives real results
  • Energized by a fast-paced, founder-led environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy over your work

Nice to have

  • Builder. You're energized by white space and growth.
  • Obsessed. You care how the work shows up — the writing, the visuals, the details. You catch what others miss and you raise the bar. Not because someone's watching, but because you take pride in what you make.
  • Collaborative. You like working with the people around you. You stay open across lanes — you don't disappear into your own.
  • Rulebreaker. You'd rather take the swing than play it safe. You don't want to do what everyone else is doing.
  • All-in. You take real ownership and treat the business like it's yours — no matter how big or small the task. When something falls between the cracks, you pick it up.

Benefits

  • Be part of the legacy. Chris has spent over four decades building one of the most respected names in hair — and now that artistry is becoming a brand. This isn't a trend-driven moment. It's the product of real work, real credibility, and a founder who’s still in it every single day.
  • Get in at the perfect time. We’re in a serious growth stage with strong momentum at Sephora and expanding into the pro channel. The foundation is set, the trajectory is steep, and there’s a lot of surface area to make your mark.
  • Join a team you’ll love working with. We’re a tight-knit group that has fun, supports each other, and is genuinely excited about what we’re building together. Every day brings something new, and you’ll make real impact alongside people you enjoy showing up with. Beautiful office on the Sunset Strip, competitive salary, health benefits, and product perks.
