Job Summary

Own end-to-end digital media strategy and client stewardship for nonprofit campaigns, guiding research to optimization, reporting, and leadership of a planning team.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign planning and optimization across programmatic, search and social channels.
  • Present results, discuss strategy and plan for future campaigns with clients.
  • Lead a team of planners, mentor juniors, and socialize new processes.
  • Plan digital campaigns including research, strategy, analysis, and ongoing optimizations.
  • Collaborate with client teams to develop solutions that hit client goals.
  • Prepare and maintain media budgets and projections for internal teams and clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of multichannel plans and reports.
  • Analyze campaign data daily/weekly to improve performance and flag optimizations.
  • Stay current on technologies to identify value-driven ideas for clients.
  • Support leadership of the Media Planning department and mentor staff.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience developing and managing digital media campaigns, including at least two years as a senior member of a digital team.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; marketing or communications preferred but not required.
  • Wide understanding of programmatic media, search and paid social landscapes with ability to recommend tactics to drive donor file and revenue growth.
  • Proactive self-starter who drives efficiency and productivity across the department.
  • Nonprofit-specific experience preferred; experience generating new leads, customers, and revenue is essential.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook, and programmatic display platforms preferred.
  • Experience with e-CRM platforms such as Blackbaud Convio/Luminate Online, Salsa, Classy, Engaging Networks preferred; CMS knowledge a plus.
  • Leadership and people management experience with customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects; detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Nonprofit-specific experience preferred; experience generating new leads, customers, and revenue an absolute must.
  • Experience with e-CRM platforms such as Blackbaud Convio/Luminate Online, Salsa, Classy, Engaging Networks highly preferred. Some CMS knowledge helpful.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook, and programmatic display platforms.
