Job Summary

Own timely social content and community engagement for a charitable organization, coordinating graphics, written posts, and calendar planning while building relationships with supporters and partners to boost engagement and reach.

  • Content & Calendar: Create templates-based graphics and draft platform posts, then manage the content calendar for timely publishing.
  • Community & Engagement: Respond to comments/DMs and drive follower interaction across platforms.
  • Outreach & Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with influencers, partners, and allies both online and offline.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create social graphics/posts using our existing templates.
  • Research and draft content for platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram in a timely manner.
  • Engage in comments, replies, and direct messages from our supporters.
  • Develop relationships with influencers, partners, and other allies, online and off.
  • Utilize and update our content calendar.
  • Make recommendations for posts to generate follower engagement.

Requirements

  • Availability to work approximately 10-15 hours a week. These hours can be flexible and may be conducted around the creator’s existing commitments.
  • Remote/home-based position; can be located anywhere globally.
  • Reliable internet connection.
  • A commitment to Liluye’s mission to help trafficked survivors, and to aid in the prevention and awareness of anti-trafficking.
  • A commitment to Liluye’s core values of empowerment, peace, honesty, authenticity, practicing kindness and compassion, choosing love over fear, making a difference, inspiring through diversity and creativity, and to live each day courageously.
  • Exceptional communications and writing skills, and an interest in learning about and communicating Liluye’s work.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Interpersonal skills, especially in cross-cultural environments.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Trello.
  • Some experience in creating graphics and written content.

Preferred

  • Two years’ experience with social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram) for a charitable organization, especially producing dynamic content.
  • Ability to reflect Liluye’s voice, mission, brand, and core values accurately.
  • Ability to find the best media and information and display it in an emotional way that engages audiences.
  • Passion for anti-trafficking, empowerment, women’s rights and charitable, volunteer work.
