Responsibilities

• The Social Media Content Creator will develop and publish engaging, mission-aligned content across social platforms to amplify Roarke Regenerative’s environmental impact and projects.
• This full-time remote role involves planning content calendars, writing posts and captions, producing short-form video and visual assets, and adapting content for various channels such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
• The individual will monitor trends and platform best practices, track performance metrics, and optimize content based on audience engagement and organizational goals.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with program, fundraising, and communications teams to highlight initiatives, creating stories that educate and inspire action, and managing community interactions through comments, messages, and shares.
• The Social Media Content Creator will also support campaign launches, partner activations, and social storytelling that showcases reforestation projects and climate-positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong social media content creation skills, including writing clear, engaging captions and developing platform-specific storytelling.
• Experience planning and managing social media calendars, campaigns, and posting schedules across multiple channels.
• Ability to produce and edit short-form video and basic visual content (e.g., reels, stories, graphics) using common creative tools.
• Comfort with social media analytics, reporting, and using insights to refine content and improve audience engagement.
• Knowledge of current social media trends, best practices, and community management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and consistency in voice and tone.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
• Interest in environmental conservation, climate action, or nonprofit work; prior experience in these areas is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic digital marketing concepts, including brand awareness, audience growth, and content optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Environmental Studies, Media, or a similar field.
