We're hiring a Vice President. 

Focal Point Strategy Group is growing, and we're looking for a senior communications leader who wants to build something of their own.

No inherited team, no inherited playbook. You'll build your own practice area, recruit your own team, and grow your own client portfolio from the ground up. Real autonomy, real ownership, real impact.

Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, communications, and impact. We run rapid-response war rooms, shape narratives that move, and partner with causes, companies, and leaders navigating complex terrain. Right now that means clients working on climate and clean energy, immigration, democracy, and holding power accountable.

What we're looking for:

→ 12+ years in strategic communications, with senior leadership experience

→ A track record of building teams and winning client trust independently

→ Progressive values and a deep feel for American politics

→ A strong network and the instinct to grow one

Base salary starts at $165K, plus performance bonuses, health insurance, and 401k matching.
