Job Summary

Own vertical market expansion by turning industrial insights into growth plans, then drive cross functional execution and KPI driven improvements across power, semiconductor, food and beverage and chemical markets.

  • Growth alignment: partner with marketing and demand gen to shape campaigns that support vertical growth and customer needs.
  • Vertical execution: coordinate with NA sales and events to tailor tools and plans for NA customers and key sub-verticals.
  • Performance discipline: track KPIs, analyze results, and adjust strategies while building industry relationships with associations and influencers.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze industrial market trends, regulatory changes, customer pain points, and vertical-specific opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver comprehensive annual growth initiatives aligned with market opportunities and business goals, including growth strategies for sub-verticals, such as power, semiconductor, food and beverage, and chemical markets.
  • Drive cross-functional execution of commercial growth initiatives and sub-vertical growth strategies.
  • Partner with marketing campaign managers, digital marketers, and demand generation experts to align campaigns and initiatives with business growth strategies and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with trade show and event managers to plan and execute events that reinforce Hach’s leadership in water analysis.
  • Work closely with North American sales teams to develop vertical-specific strategies and tools for success.
  • Ensure that new and existing products address the most critical needs of customers in North America.
  • Track, measure, and analyze the performance of growth initiatives against established KPIs and use problem solving to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant industry organizations, associations, and influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced marketing degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive commercial experience in marketing/product management
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing growth or go-to-market strategies in a B2B environment.
  • Experience using market, customer, or performance data to identify opportunities and support decisions.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence.

Preferred

  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in water treatment or industrial water
