Own social media and content marketing tasks for youth programs, help develop employability resources, and support communications initiatives across platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Under supervision, social media and content creation/marketing tasks such as assistance in managing our social platforms
  • Assist with development of employability-focused opportunities and resources for young people.
  • Strong writing, verbal communication and teamwork skills
  • Monitor social media accounts daily to ensure we are providing timely and appropriate replies and interaction with our followers
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficient in Social Media skills required; will train on organization-level social media, but must have a working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Attention to detail and copywriting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication

Preferred

  • An advanced understanding of public relations, social media, and its purposes and tools preferred including video and audio production
  • An interest in social media marketing, government and/or non-profits and communications preferred
