Responsibilities

• Work on an assigned , individual Marketing project throughout the summer, c ulminating in a presentation of the completed project to Diamondback’s executive team
• Support day-to-day Energy Transactions activity under the direction of an assigned, experienced mentor
• Work directly with teams across Operations and other disciplines to experience what working in an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production company is like
• Assist with daily scheduling and nomination functions, daily production, sales , and flaring reports
• Collaborate with other departments such as Accounting to understand the accrual process
• Re view purchase contracts and summarize key commercial term s
• Participate in on-site field visits to learn about field operations, including an active drilling rig and completions spread
• P articipate in intern events and philanthropic endeavors that support the Midland-Odessa community

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor ’ s Degree or higher in Energy Commerce, Energy Marketing (or similar) with a focus on Energy Transactions or similar discipline
• Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
• Must be willing to work in Midland , TX for the duration of the internship
• Must be returning to school for the Fall 2027 semester

Preferred

• Cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher
• Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience
