Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Social Media Director leads the strategic development, execution, and optimization of social media communications for Park Promo, the student-run agency serving the Roy H. Park School of Communications.
  • As a member of the agency's leadership team, the Social Media Director coordinates a team of student content creators, strategists, designers, photographers, videographers, and digital storytellers responsible for creating compelling content that elevates the School's brand, engages key audiences, and showcases the achievements of students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners.
  • The Social Media Director develops and implements innovative social media strategies that support recruitment, enrollment, student engagement, community building, event promotion, thought leadership, and reputation enhancement.
  • This position combines strategic communications, digital storytelling, audience engagement, analytics, creative direction, and student leadership in a professional agency environment.
  • The Social Media Director serves as the strategic leader of Park Promo's digital presence, helping tell the story of the Roy H. Park School of Communications through compelling, audience-centered content.
  • By leading social media strategy, developing future communications professionals, and building meaningful engagement with key audiences, the Social Media Director plays a critical role in strengthening the School's reputation and advancing its mission through innovative messaging, storytelling, and promotion.
