Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in cataloging/tracking new and/or updated editorial content for Visit California’s consumer-facing channels, including website, publications and e-newsletter.
  • Assist with metrics reports for content pulls/speeches.
  • Website maintenance, including maintaining/revising website links, tagging content, editing copy.
  • Assist in reviewing Visit California printed publications orders.
  • Assist cataloging and/or tracking social media analytics and content.
  • Assist with uploading photo and video assets to Digital Asset Management System (Bynder).
  • Compile notes and track action items at designated meetings.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues with social vendors such as sprout and crowd riff.
  • Assist with ad hoc marketing requests.

Requirements

  • Must complete each term with minimum unit requirements for Undergraduate and Graduate student classifications. Proof will be collected at the end of each Spring and Fall term.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others in a professional office environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products, in particular, Excel, Google Sheets and Google Docs. Advanced knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with Workflow Management and asset management systems, in particular Monday.com and Bynder.
  • Experience working with Data and Content Management systems (ex: Drupal, Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Individuals who are, or have been, a dependent child in foster care, a homeless youth or a formerly incarcerated youth as defined by Government Code section 18220 are encouraged to apply and will be given priority.   • Education equivalent to a high school diploma, but additional education and skills a plus.
