Job Summary

Own field-facing marketing for TAVI in the US, driving product launches, field readiness, and market awareness while aligning with sales, regulatory, and communications to hit sales and margin targets.

  • Field program ownership: support field teams, manage device demos, collateral, and customer resources.
  • Cross-functional leadership: partner with sales, regulatory, communications, and project teams to deliver campaigns and milestones.
  • Market intelligence and planning: analyze competitors, market trends, segmentation, and annual marketing plans to shape positioning and targeting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-going field support and will focus on growing the market awareness for TAVI and related disease states, including launching new products.
  • Work closely with the sales team and be responsible for aspects of US strategy implementation including digital strategy and channel execution.
  • Success will be measured against sales and margin expectations, sales force competency/knowledge level and development of marketing programs which enhance field and customer experience.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.
  • Contribute to annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT situation assessment.
  • Manage field device demo needs, tracking sales & patient resource utilization, and working with communications manager to manage promotional collateral.
  • Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project manager to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones.
  • Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new US materials.
  • Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Drive to deliver Sales, Margin, and key performance metrics for TAVR products.

Requirements

  • Prior marketing experience within medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years related marketing or product management experience, preferably in TAVI/TAVR. MBA with 4+ years of related experience also considered.
  • Relevant downstream marketing experience.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.
  • Able to understand technical and scientific information.
  • Able to handle a fast-paced working environment.
  • Substantial financial skills, market analysis and advanced communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as written and oral communication skills.

Preferred

  • Willing to understand and comply with Regulatory requirements.
  • Able to influence and motivate individuals from sales, marketing, and other functional areas to drive product sales.
  • Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
