Job Summary

Own the enterprise go-to-market and partner strategy to drive new CDS adoption with lighthouse customers, anchored in segments and measurable ROI.

  • GTM & Partner Ownership: Define and deploy sales, BD and enablement plans across enterprise segments and CDS offerings.
  • Strategic Relationships: Build key business and technical ties with customers and partners to unlock new segments and long term opportunities.
  • Adoption & ROI: Measure adoption programs, evangelize CDS externally, and orchestrate cross-functional plans with sales, product, legal and support to optimize ROI.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Define, build and deploy sales, business development and GTM strategies to help acquire new customers and help them successfully deploy desktops and applications on AWS;
  • Define key customer segments to target, driving the necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish new business in new customer segments, deliver artifacts and enablement that enables the sales teams to drive successful new business in order to build long-term business opportunity;
  • Engage enterprise lighthouse customers and partners about the CDS value proposition, including senior level customer and partner meetings to discuss business issues and helps customers and partners achieve business outcomes;
  • Establish ways to measure and track key mechanisms and programs related to adoption of CDS, and use data to optimize ROI - Serve as an evangelist CDS externally and within AWS - Own creation and orchestration of the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, product service teams, legal, support, etc.).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of business development, strategic partnerships, and/or program/product management experience with national and/or international scope
  • 5+ years selling or driving partnerships and programs around cloud, hosted and managed services in technology industry
  • 5+ years’ experience selling enterprise datacenter and/or application technologies, preferably cloud based
Preferred
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
  • Experience in AWS services
  • Experience working with partners including leading GSIs and ISVs
  • Experience with CPaaS channels like email, SMS, push notifications, telephony, audio, and video, high-scale inbound and outbound email
  • Complex agreement negotiation skills and experience, and business and financial acumen
  • Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business
  • Ability to develop business justifications for cloud technology roadmap adoption
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
