Job Summary

Own the alumni influencer and social-activation engine, turning authentic alumni voices into cross-channel campaigns that boost reach and credibility while maintaining brand storytelling consistency.

  • Alumni & Influencer Program: recruit, coordinate, and nurture ambassadors; align with campaigns and calendar; measure engagement and outcomes.
  • Content Operations: develop on-brand posts and manage daily publishing and community interaction across platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Brand/Social teams to leverage influencer content and ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Developing, designing, and publishing creative social media content aligned with the brand’s voice and marketing calendar.
  • Manage day-to-day posting and community interaction across key channels for Rocky Vista University, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Manage and grow Medforth’s alumni influencer program to amplify brand storytelling and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with alumni advocates and influencers to support marketing campaigns and community initiatives.
  • Support social media efforts related to influencer content and alumni engagement, collaborating with the Brand and Social Media Manager and other marketing teams.
  • Aid the Brand and Social Manager in identifying, recruiting, and nurturing relationships with alumni advocates and external influencers to represent Medforth’s brand authentically.
  • Manage ongoing communications and collaboration with alumni influencers, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and marketing calendar.
  • Coordinate alumni participation in campaigns, events, interviews, and content creation to boost reach and credibility.
  • Maintain the alumni influencer database and track engagement metrics and outcomes.
  • Develop, design, and schedule creative, on-brand social media posts including graphics, videos, stories, and reels across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, brand marketing, or digital content creation
  • Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and creative design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong skills in copywriting, visual storytelling, and basic video editing.
  • Ability to analyze social data and translate insights into content improvements.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in working with influencers, establishing and building influencer programs.
  • Passion for higher education or healthcare industries a plus.
