SUMMARY
Provide general support to the Communications and Marketing team with a focus on enhancing digital engagement, integrating AI-driven solutions, and optimizing communication processes. This role contributes to the development of new tools, campaigns, and content strategies that expand the College’s digital presence while building skills in applied artificial intelligence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Assist with planning and posting of content across social media platforms, advise on integrating IT automation tools to enhance responsiveness and efficiency.
2. Leverage AI tools to support content creation, maintenance, and optimization, improving engagement, consistence and scalability with minimal manual effort.
3. Design and produce digital assets, such as flyers, graphics, and video reels utilizing AI tools to streamline content creation, maintain brand consistency and increase growth potential.
4. Support the ongoing development and enhancement of digital platforms, including the HCC mobile app and website, by exploring AI-powered tools to improve user experience and content delivery.
5. Research and recommend emerging technologies in marketing, communication and analytics to support campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking.
6. Collaborate on departmental projects and marketing campaigns, identifying AI-enabled solutions to improve reach, engagement and data-driven decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required.
Student currently enrolled in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science, Digital Media, Marketing or related program preferred.
EXPERIENCE
1 year experience using AI tools preferred.
Experience or strong interest in digital content creation, social media, or marketing communications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Familiarity with AI platforms and digital design tools.
3. Interest in applying AI to real-world marketing and communications projects.
4. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
6. Willingness to learn emerging AI technologies.
