Responsibilities

• On-Site Directing & Filming: Travel to client locations across Metro Detroit (Dearborn, Flat Rock, and surrounding Wayne/Oakland County areas) to film short-form video content.
• Client Direction: Act as an encouraging, organized director on set to guide business owners who aren't used to being on camera.
• Video Editing (CapCut): Edit high-quality, engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) with crisp cuts, dynamic captions, trending audio, text overlays, sound effects, and smooth transitions.
• Content Brainstorming: Collaborate on fresh content ideas, viral trends, and creative concepts tailored to each client's brand.
• Timely Delivery: Maintain reliable communication, show up on time for scheduled shoots, and meet post-production deadlines consistently.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Entry-level experience creating short-form video content. Proficiency with CapCut is required.
• Equipment: Must own a modern smartphone (iPhone 13 or newer preferred) with ample available storage space for raw footage.
• Platform Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook video formats and trends.
• Soft Skills: Highly dependable, punctual, and comfortable working directly with local business owners.
• Transportation: Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance to travel to client locations in Wayne and Oakland Counties. On-site shoot time and travel time between clients are included in your billable hours.
