Responsibilities

• This remote Social Media Marketing Intern role is an internship position that supports the planning and execution of social media initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with social media content creation (posts, captions, stories, and short videos), scheduling and publishing content, and monitoring engagement across platforms. The intern will help research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to inform content and campaign ideas. Additional responsibilities may include drafting simple digital marketing copy, collecting performance metrics, preparing reports, and collaborating with the team to brainstorm creative concepts.

Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation across major platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Foundational knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, including audience targeting and basic campaign planning.
• Strong Communication skills, with clear written and verbal expression and an eye for brand-consistent messaging.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and an interest in visual storytelling and current social media trends.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Familiarity with social media scheduling or analytics tools is an advantage.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
