Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage social media content calendars across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Coordinate development, review, and approval of social media content with internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Schedule and publish content in alignment with campaign priorities, brand standards, and accessibility requirements (Section 508)
  • Support execution of social media campaigns, including organic and paid initiatives
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and trends, and escalate issues as needed
  • Conduct social listening activities to identify audience insights, trends, and opportunities
  • Track content performance and contribute to reporting on key metrics such as reach, engagement, and growth
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all social platforms
  • Support real-time and event-based content execution, including rapid-turnaround posting needs
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and collaboration tools to support efficient content production and publishing

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Washington, DC
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience supporting social media planning, coordination, and execution for organizational or brand accounts

Preferred

  • Experience supporting federal government or public-sector communications programs
  • Familiarity with recruitment marketing, employer branding, or talent acquisition campaigns
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms)
  • Experience managing content calendars, publishing workflows, and approval processes
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance reporting
