Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as our lead digital strategist and as a consistent, authentic face for our brand and as the technical manager creating and posting digital content across multiple platforms.
  • Strategy, Creation & Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive content calendar.
  • Execution: Create and schedule posts across platforms (minimum 5x per week).
  • Production: Script content for UpRoot and its partners.
  • Editing: Perform basic video editing or collaborate with an editor to ensure high-quality output.
  • Community Engagement: Respond to comments/DMs and manage ManyChat integrations to foster a vibrant community.
  • Substack Management: Collaborate with UpRoot leadership on weekly Substack posts.
  • Analytics: Monitor performance, track engagement, and adjust strategies based on data.
  • On-Camera Brand Ambassador: Hosting: Act as a consistent face for UpRoot by hosting various videos.
  • Education: Deliver policy breakdowns and create introduction/explainer content.
