Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Responsibilities

• Manage and create content for multiple client social media accounts
• Create and edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Develop engaging captions, hooks, Stories, and content ideas
• Help create and maintain monthly content calendars
• Schedule and publish social media content
• Stay current with Instagram and TikTok trends, features, and best practices
• Assist with content strategy and brainstorming
• Attend occasional client content days throughout the South Shore and Boston area
• Capture behind-the-scenes content, photos, and video when needed
• Help repurpose existing content across platforms

Requirements

• Experience managing social media accounts
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok
• Experience creating Reels and short-form video
• Knowledge of CapCut, Canva, or similar creative tools
• A strong eye for visual content and storytelling
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Confidence working independently
• A passion for social media, content, and digital marketing
• A good understanding of current social media trends

Preferred

• Bonus: Experience with restaurants, food content, personal brands, lifestyle brands, or local businesses.
