Job Summary

Own the end-to-end social content workflow across multiple client accounts, ensuring timely, high-quality posts and proactive coaching of junior team members.

  • Own daily publishing and QA for posts, Reels, and Stories.
  • Lead coordination with clients and mentor the Social Media Coordinator.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Format, draft copy for, schedule, and quality-assure daily feed posts, Reels, TikToks, and Stories across multiple active client accounts. Serve as the final gatekeeper for error-free captions, tags, and asset formatting before going live.
  • Serve as a responsive point of contact during day-to-day client communications regarding social media: sharing calendar updates, addressing feedback with clarity, and ensuring clients feel heard and supported at every touchpoint.
  • Directly guide and support a Social Media Coordinator who handles daily community management and publishing support. Delegate tactical posting tasks, review work for accuracy, and maintain smooth collaboration across client workflows.
  • Maintain strict adherence to client content calendars, ensuring all approved assets are queued and fully scheduled ahead of live dates or post in real time.
  • Supervise the daily community management executed by the Coordinator (comment moderation, DMs, reactive engagement, account tagging) while identifying timely cultural and platform trends to capitalize on.
  • Proactively prioritize daily deliverables across client accounts, manage time and project tracking transparently, and hit deadlines consistently without requiring close supervision.
  • Pull monthly cross-platform performance metrics, synthesize actionable takeaways, and partner on strategic adjustments to creative direction and publishing cadence.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of direct agency experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record managing multiple client social accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment, maintaining high publishing velocity (20+ posts, Reels, and Stories per week) with flawless execution and QA.
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring junior team members (such as coordinators, interns, or specialists) - including delegating daily publishing tasks, reviewing copy and assets for brand accuracy, and overseeing community management workflows.
  • Track record of managing competing deadlines across diverse rosters while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Background in direct client communication. Skilled at taking feedback constructively, speaking with warmth and poise in client interactions, and building trusted, positive agency-client partnerships.
  • Hands-on experience with project management workflows like Trello.
  • Exceptional grammar and writing skills, with the demonstrated ability to adopt, refine, and protect distinct brand voices across diverse categories (especially CPG, food, and beverage).
  • Highly proactive communicator, reliable project tracker, and able to work on-site in Brooklyn 1-2 days per week.
