Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create Instagram content (static posts, carousels, reels, stories) on a 2-day posting cadence for our brands.
  • Use a mix of AI tools, design apps (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express), and real product photography/video using samples available in Brooklyn.
  • Write compelling hooks and captions that fit each brand and drive engagement.
  • Schedule and publish posts, then monitor performance (reach, saves, shares, watch time, profile visits).
  • Work closely with the Marketing Intern to align content with brand messaging, campaigns, and product priorities.
  • Join focused in-person meetings in NYC (starting with weekly 30-minute sessions) to review metrics, discuss what worked/what didn’t, and plan the next round of tests no unnecessary meetings.

Requirements

  • Education: Junior or Senior student studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field.
  • Active Instagram user with a strong feel for trends, hooks, and what performs.
  • Basic content creation skills using tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, Adobe Express, or similar.
  • Comfortable reading platform insights and summarizing key learnings.
  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
  • Regular user of AI tools for captions, ideas, and visuals is a major plus, and we welcome your own preferred platforms.

Preferred

  • • Platforms: Instagram (primary), plus TikTok and Pinterest are a plus.
  • • Scheduling tools: Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, or similar.
  • • AI tools: any apps you already use for idea generation, caption writing, or light editing.
