Drive content creation and social strategy for a rising artist across video, photo, and platform channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Record high-quality video and photo content at shows, studio sessions, rehearsals, and events
  • Capture behind-the-scenes, day-in-the-life, and promotional content
  • Organize, store, and manage all media assets
  • Support creative direction for visual storytelling
  • Develop and execute content strategies across platforms
  • Manage and optimize accounts on: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter)
  • Post engaging, real-time content to maximize reach and engagement
  • Respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions
  • Grow and maintain a loyal online community
  • Promote music releases, merchandise, and events
  • Assist with merch sales and brand campaigns
  • Build and manage email lists for fan engagement
  • Conduct outreach to influencers, blogs, playlists, and media outlets
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on data
  • Assist with social media ads and paid promotion strategies

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Social Media Marketing, Content Strategy, and Digital Marketing
  • Ability to create, plan, and execute engaging content
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Experience analyzing data and improving campaign performance
  • Knowledge of social media tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software
  • Familiarity with branding, audience growth, and digital trends
  • Understanding of music streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube Music)
  • Required Equipment - Smartphone capable of high-quality video: Android 14 or newer OR iPhone 12 or newer (recommended)
  • Laptop for editing, uploading, and communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (not required)

Preferred

  • Experience in entertainment, music, or artist branding is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (not required)
  • All-advantages of travel and live event coverage experience could be beneficial
