Responsibilities

• Social Media and Content Distribution: Engage thoughtfully with relevant people, organizations and communities on social media
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Participate in appropriate online conversations on behalf of Loud Spectrum
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Write captions and prepare social media posts
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Publish approved videos, images and written content across our social platforms
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Identify compelling moments from longer videos and prepare clips, captions and accompanying posts for distribution
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Adapt content and messaging for different social platforms
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Help maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Monitor comments and engagement and flag messages that require a team response
• Social Media and Content Distribution: Track basic performance and share observations about what resonates with our audience
• Blog Writing and Content Development: Turn videos, transcripts, interviews and source materials into engaging blog articles

Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, journalism, film, digital media or a related field
• Growth Mindset, curious, resourceful and willing to learn new tools and processes
• Strong writing, proofreading and communication skills
• Genuine interest in marketing, social media, storytelling and content production
• Good judgment when communicating publicly on behalf of an organization
• Organized, dependable and able to follow through on assignments
• Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work
• Able to work approximately 20 hours per week onsite in Santa Ana
• Experience with content, design or production tools such as adobe premiere, final cut pro, photoshop is helpful but not required
