Drive OpenVerdict\'s social and video content to explain active cases for a nonprofit civic-legal platform.

Plan, write, shoot, and edit short-form video for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
Demonstrated content creation with real engagement across at least one platform (TikTok, X, Substack, podcast, or blog).
Curiosity about courts and civil rights guides coverage strategy.

Plan, write, shoot, and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts on active cases
Run and grow OpenVerdict's accounts on X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Build and maintain an editorial calendar that aligns with new cases being added to the docket
Write captions, threads, and platform-native posts in OpenVerdict's voice (nonpartisan, sharp, evidence-grounded)
Engage with the audience: respond to comments, surface compelling user arguments from the platform, amplify the deliberation happening on openverdict.net
Identify trending legal topics in the news cycle and pitch case coverage ideas
Track and report weekly on growth metrics: follower count, engagement rate, click-through to openverdict.net, audience composition

Strong written communication and demonstrated editorial judgment.
Demonstrated content creation experience. You should be able to point to a TikTok, Twitter / X account, Substack, podcast, or blog you have personally grown with real engagement.
Curiosity about courts, civil rights, and the FTC.
Self-directed. You will not be micromanaged.
