Job Summary

Own CCS social media storytelling across school accounts, turning events and people into mission-aligned content while upholding brand standards.

  • Content & storytelling: develop captions and stories with Visual Media Producer to reflect the CCS brand.
  • Engagement & growth: manage calendars, publish, respond to comments, and optimize audience growth and platform performance.
  • Campaigns and partnerships: coordinate campaigns, events, and collaborations with school leaders to support communications goals.

Job Description

Own CCS social media storytelling across school accounts, turning events and people into mission-aligned content while upholding brand standards.

  • Implements and manages social media strategies aligned with the goals of the Marketing & Communications Office.
  • Manages content calendars, publishing schedules, and audience engagement across multiple school-affiliated social media accounts.
  • Creates, schedules, and publishes content that is timely, mission-aligned, and audience-focused.
  • Monitors social media performance, audience engagement, and industry trends, providing recommendations to improve content effectiveness, audience growth, and platform performance.
  • Coordinates social media campaigns, special initiatives, and account takeovers.
  • Responds appropriately to comments, messages, and interactions in alignment with school communication standards.
  • Provides guidance for school-affiliated social media accounts to ensure consistency with CCS communication standards and brand guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Identifies and develops stories that highlight the people, programs, and mission of CCS.
  • Collaborates with school leaders, faculty, staff, coaches, and students to gather content and support communication goals.
  • Requires Personal faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to the mission of CCS
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
  • Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in social media, communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience managing social media accounts for an organization, agency, school, nonprofit, or multiple brands
  • Demonstrated success increasing audience engagement and executing effective content strategies
  • Experience working within established brand standards, style guides, and communication guidelines
  • Experience in a client-facing, agency, or multi-stakeholder environment
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, faith-based, or K–12 educational setting
  • Professional certifications in social media, digital marketing, content marketing, analytics, or related disciplines are a plus
