Job Summary

Own engaging social storytelling for campus channels by producing visual content, tracking trends, and coordinating posts to surface student life and services, with hands-on support for live event coverage and cross-channel campaigns.

  • Content Creation: Produce photos, videos, stories, reels, and blogs and schedule them on the content calendar.
  • Live Coverage: Support on-site event coverage and campus tours to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Trend & Engagement: Monitor platform conversations and participate with timely posts and cross-channel promotions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels, blogs) for official college social channels.
  • Highlight student life, academics, campus events, and community engagement.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling posts using a content calendar.
  • Monitor social channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
  • Support live coverage for campus events, tours, or special programs.
  • Stay informed on current social media trends and suggest innovative ways to enhance the college’s online presence.
  • Help create email campaigns, Teams announcements, social media posts, and flyers to increase awareness of student services, activities, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Current full-time student in good academic standing.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable on camera and confident speaking to groups.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (experience preferred).
  • Skills in photography, video editing, or graphic design are a plus.
