Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and operationalize SMG’s end-to-end SEO and GEO strategy, increasing visibility across AI-driven discovery platforms and driving measurable pipeline impact.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, performance data, and strategic objectives.
  • SEO and GEO operating system: Create and document scalable playbooks that embed AI-driven search best practices across Marketing.
  • Coach cross-functional partners on applying search insights and AI tools within their workflows.
  • Establish repeatable experimentation frameworks that position search as a continuous learning engine for the business.
  • Remain current on evolving search trends, algorithm updates, and AI-driven discovery environments.
  • AI-enabled workflows and experimentation frameworks: Design and implement AI-enabled workflows, including prompt libraries, automation scripts, programmatic testing, and structured data processes.
  • Run structured, hypothesis-driven experimentation cycles to continuously improve SEO and GEO performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3-5 years SEO experience with a demonstrated record of driving measurable organic growth, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
  • technical SEO, including site architecture, crawl optimization, indexing, and structured data implementation.
  • SEO and analytics platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Google Search Console.
  • data analysis and performance reporting, with the ability to connect SEO performance to business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience:
  • developing and executing generative search optimization and AI-driven search visibility strategies.
  • designing and iterating AI-enabled workflows that improve quality, efficiency, or strategic insight.
  • running structured test-and-learn cycles to continuously improve performance
  • collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations teams.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with automation, scripting, or programmatic SEO approaches.
  • Experience driving organic growth within growth-stage SaaS organizations.
  • Background in experience management and/or customer experience.
