Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight: SEO strategy across managed client accounts (manage clients and lead direct reports)
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with department leads on integrated campaigns
• Conducting keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and phrases
• Analyzing competitor rankings for those keywords
• Performing technical SEO audits to identify issues and opportunities to improve site indexing, page speed, technical errors
• Optimizing on-page elements such as page titles, meta descriptions, headers, content, image alt text to improve relevancy for target keywords
• Optimizing existing content like blog posts and service pages that target relevant topics and keywords
• Using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools to track key SEO metrics such as rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and report on optimization efforts
• Monitoring search algorithms and best-practice changes to identify potential impacts and opportunities
• Collaborating with development, content, project management, and support teams to align SEO with business goals

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience executing organic search strategies
• Fundamentals of digital marketing, specifically SEO
• Comfortable editing content to improve relevance
• Written and verbal communication skills to answer client questions and explain common SEO tactics
