Senior Retail Media Strategist - Programmatic and Search

Responsibilities

• Own retail media performance and revenue contribution across assigned brands.
• Develop full-funnel media strategies across Amazon Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, and other applicable retail media platforms (Walmart Connect, Roundel, etc.).
• Build, launch, and optimize Amazon Sponsored Ads campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
• Directly manage Amazon DSP campaigns, including campaigns and order creation, audiences and inventory selection, setting budgets, pacing, and optimizing toward performance goals.
• Activate and optimize campaigns for non-Amazon RMNs where applicable, applying consistent strategy and rigor across platforms.
• Translate business objectives into measurable media plans tied to growth, efficiency, incrementality, and profitability metrics.
• Allocate and reallocate budgets based on growth stage, margin profile, promotional calendars, and competitive dynamics.
• Execute structured testing plans across keywords, bids, placements, creatives, audiences, and programmatic tactics.
• Align media support with retail events, promotions, inventory position, pricing strategy, and broader commercial priorities.
• Present performance insights, testing recommendations, and forward-looking investment strategies to internal stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Sponsored Ads and retail search campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience building, launching, and optimizing campaigns directly within Amazon Ads.
• Hands-on Amazon DSP experience, including campaign and order setup, optimization, pacing, audience strategy, and performance analysis.
• Meaningful experience on at least one additional retail media platform such as Walmart Connect, Roundel, or similar networks with the ability to apply strategy across networks.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to connect media metrics to business impact.
• Proven ability to operate strategically while also executing tactically and independently.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, and campaign management platforms such as Pacvue, Skai, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in client-facing environments.
