Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in day-to-day execution across client accounts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and consistent progress against program goals.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, managing communications, providing counsel, and building trusted relationships.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with members of the media relevant to our industries; communicate on behalf of clients and experts.
  • Project manage campaigns and teams (potentially including account management).
  • Proactively advise clients on communications strategies related to their public relations objectives.
  • Apply knowledge of PR trends, functionality, tools, and measurement.
  • Understand, analyze, and report on campaign results to clients.
  • Provide feedback to team members, support the development of team members’ PR skillsets and careers.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of PR or communications experience, including at least 2 years working at a PR agency.
  • Ability to translate complex language in tech, healthcare, and workforce/education industries into straightforward, non-technical language.
  • Experience preparing clients for interviews, preparing talking points, and responding to a crisis.
  • Equal parts contributor and collaborator; avid reader of news and can apply timely trends to clients’ messages and program goals.
  • Outstanding writing skills and appreciation for high-quality, strategic work.

Preferred

  • Experience in formally managing direct reports.
  • Exposure to account budgets and managing to scope.
  • Experience in digital, paid, content, social, and analytics.
