Job Description

Responsibilities

  • 1. Campaign Management & Optimization - End-to-End Ownership: Own campaign management across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to start, then expand into Google, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Spotify, Amazon, and other platforms as we grow. - Full-Funnel Campaigns: Plan, build, launch, and optimize campaigns for leads, sales, and profitability, not just clicks. You manage the full funnel from top-of-funnel awareness through conversion and retention. - Daily Optimization: Analyze performance daily and weekly. Translate account data into clear actions to improve CAC, ROAS, LTV, and overall profitability. Optimization is the job, not a weekly check-in. - Cross-Channel Thinking: Look beyond single-channel results. Evaluate cross-channel impact and blended performance so decisions are made based on total business outcomes, not siloed metrics. - Budget Management: Manage ad spend responsibly. Pace budgets, reallocate based on performance, and proactively flag when spend is trending off-target before it becomes a problem. 2. Tracking, Data & Reporting - Tracking Setup: Set up and maintain tracking infrastructure: pixels, tags, UTM parameters, conversion events, and server-side tracking. Clean data is non-negotiable. - Attribution: Understand attribution models and their limitations. Be able to explain what the data says and what it does not say, so leadership can make informed decisions. - Reporting: Provide clear, actionable reports to leadership on a weekly and monthly cadence. Reports include what is working, what is not, and what you are doing about it. No vanity metrics. - Dashboard Management: Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership and cross-functional teams visibility into campaign performance without having to ask for updates. 3. Testing & Strategy - Testing Roadmap: Develop and run structured testing roadmaps covering creative, audiences, bidding strategies, landing pages, and offers. Document every test and its learnings. - Creative Collaboration: Partner with the Brand & Creative Director and design team to brief, test, and iterate on ad creative. Bring data-backed creative insights to the table, not just requests for more assets. - Funnel Alignment: Collaborate with the Meta, Funnels & AI Performance Coach to ensure landing pages, offers, and post-click experiences are aligned with campaign strategy. The ad is only as good as the funnel behind it. - Messaging Collaboration: Work with the Messaging & Copy Strategist to test and refine ad copy, hooks, and angles. Share performance data so copy decisions are informed by results, not guesswork. - Platform Expansion: As you prove mastery on Meta, proactively research and recommend expansion into new platforms. Come with a plan, not just a suggestion. 4. Collaboration & Communication - Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with marketing, sales, coaching, and creative teams. Share what you are seeing in the data, ask for context, and align on offers, messaging, and timing. - Proactive Updates: Keep leadership informed on campaign performance, risks, and opportunities. Do not wait to be asked. Surface insights early and often. - Platform Intelligence: Stay on top of platform changes, algorithm updates, best practices, and new advertising opportunities. Share relevant updates with the team so everyone benefits. - AI & Efficiency: Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting, automate repetitive tasks, and surface insights faster. Track hours saved and share workflows that work with the team. 5. Coachability & Continuous Learning - Training Program: Actively participate in our advertising training program. Use our curriculum, coaching calls, and resources to sharpen your skills and expand into new platforms. - Feedback Implementation: Receive coaching and feedback with an open mind. Implement it quickly. We hire smart people and then invest in making them better. Your willingness to learn is just as important as what you already know. - Ownership of Growth: Take responsibility for your own development. Ask questions, seek out new certifications, stay current on platform changes, and continuously improve your craft. - Knowledge Sharing: When you learn something that works, share it. When you make a mistake, share that too. We build each other up by being open about what we are learning.

Requirements

  • - Experience: 5 to 7+ years of hands-on experience running paid media campaigns, including Meta Ads Manager plus at least one additional major platform (Google, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • - Budget Management: Proven track record managing meaningful ad budgets and consistently hitting performance targets (ROAS, CAC, lead volume, profitability).
  • - Analytical Strength: Strong analytical skills and fluency with ad platform dashboards, Google Analytics or GA4, and reporting tools. You read data, spot patterns, and make fast, high-quality optimization decisions.
  • - Full-Funnel Expertise: Experience building and managing full-funnel campaigns from top-of-funnel awareness through conversion and retention, not just boosting posts or basic traffic campaigns.
  • - Tracking & Attribution: Hands-on experience setting up pixels, conversion APIs, UTM structures, and server-side tracking. You understand attribution models and their blind spots.
  • - Testing Discipline: Experience running structured A/B and multivariate tests on creative, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies with documented learnings.
  • - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with creative, copy, and marketing teams to brief assets, align messaging, and improve campaign performance through collaboration.
  • - In-House Preferred: In-house experience strongly preferred. We are not looking for someone who managed from a distance at an agency. We want someone who has been embedded in the business, owned the outcomes, and felt the results.
