Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Media Spokesperson across a range of corporate priorities and issues; develop company statements, positions, and responses to queries; build relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Execute the company’s proactive media engagement strategy to identify key themes, narratives, events, and opportunities to positively position the company and its leaders.
  • Support the planning and execution of significant corporate news events, including executive interviews for broadcast, radio, and podcasts; manage logistics and briefing materials.
  • Amplify key corporate events by developing media materials (releases, b-roll, imagery) around earnings, shareholder meetings, M&A, leadership positioning, and other announcements.
  • Establish and run media operations including monitoring, reporting, media list management, online newsroom, press release distribution, and asset management; provide regular internal reports on coverage and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with leadership across functions to ensure media operations deliver value and align with objectives; promote safety and health policies in all work environments.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 10 years of equivalent experience
  • Required Work Experience: 7+ years of experience in communications, PR, or media relations
  • Required Technical Skills: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office, Google Suite preferred
  • Travel Requirements: Semi-Regular travel is required to support brand campaigns and collaborate with regional teams (up to 10%)
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to respirators; candidates must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests
