Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create new product timelines to support the Marketing calendar, achieving cross-functional acceptance from Marketing, Packaging, Product Development, Creative, Finance and Manufacturing.
  • Ensure all timeline milestones are met to achieve the target ship date; drive the process end-to-end and resolve timeline issues.
  • Develop tactical plans when missed due dates occur to bring project back on track and notify senior management of critical issues and next steps.
  • Participate and lead regularly scheduled meetings to review projects with core team members to ensure milestones are met.
  • Track all packaging artwork and ensure packaging guidelines are adhered to.
  • Track existing business package updates due to regulatory, formula or package revisions.
  • Line edit; track discontinuation, excess componentry and liabilities.
  • Review excess and obsolescence on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate on all issues regarding early needs i.e. PR, registration samples, etc.
  • Contribute fully to a climate for success in project teams: foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships, reward and celebrate achievements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Marketing field
  • Understanding of key business processes and functions within a Beauty or CPG company
  • College/University degree required
  • Demonstrates leadership skills including prioritization, delegation, and conflict management of Project Team-related activities
  • Excellent follow up and organizational skills required
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and yet be flexible in an ever-changing environment
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word; experience with Microsoft Project
