Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop cross-channel campaigns across email and in product communications to implement a holistic, omni-channel approach by audience type for in-person and virtual events (webinars, conferences, workshops, dinners, industry and virtual events).
  • Collaborate with events lead and cross channel leads for social, web, PR and sales channels to ensure that there is an interconnected approach across all communication channels.
  • Oversee the communication strategy across all events to ensure that the team has built an optimal end-to-end journey that is repeatable and documented in playbooks for scalability.
  • Work with the key stakeholders (event leads, GTM and Sales team if applicable) to define and agree on targets to meet or exceed goals through rapid iteration of both tried and true strategies as well as innovative new approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event communications with overall marketing goals and brand messaging.
  • Develop and implement test and learn strategies including A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to continuously improve event communication, optimize engagement and drive attendance
  • Leverage positioning, messaging, buyer personas and other information to target segments and generate highly qualified leads.
  • Optimize event communication strategies to maximize lead acquisition and nurture through the sales funnel.
  • Work closely with the outbound sales marketing team lead to ensure seamless handoff of leads and track the effectiveness of lead generation activities.
  • Implement targeted communication strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention through personalized event experiences.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to segment audiences and tailor communications to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Analyze and understand key market segments to develop compelling messaging and marketing offers.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of event communication campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Use analytics to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies to achieve better outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing or relevant experience developing winning data driven communication strategies—having event comms experience a plus!
  • You’re a strategic communicator: You excel at crafting and executing comprehensive communication strategies that effectively engage diverse audiences across multiple channels.
  • You’re audience-centric: You have a deep understanding of customer and prospect journeys, and you know how to tailor messaging to resonate with different segments, driving engagement and attendance.
  • You’re an omni-channel expert: You have experience integrating communication efforts across email, SMS, in-product messaging, and other channels to create a seamless and impactful customer experience.
  • You’re data-savvy: You use insights and analytics to inform and refine your communication strategies, ensuring that every campaign is optimized for maximum impact.
  • You’re an innovative thinker: You enjoy experimenting with new communication approaches and technologies to stay ahead of the curve and deliver fresh, engaging content.
  • You’re collaborative and influential: You work effectively with cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders and ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
  • You’re detail-oriented: You are meticulous in your approach, ensuring that every aspect of communication strategy is well-planned, executed, and documented for scalability.
