Job Summary

Own and scale editorial strategy for travel content, balancing brand storytelling, SEO, and business goals while building a high performing editorial team and governance.

  • Performance and Collaboration: Link editorial analytics to organic search, engagement, and conversions with cross-functional partners.

Job Description

Own the editorial strategy and governance for travel content, aligning with marketing, brand, SEO, and business priorities.

  • Editorial Leadership: Define the editorial roadmap, standards, and governance across internal and external contributors.
  • Content Operations: Build scalable frameworks, styles, calendars, and QA to improve quality and efficiency while ensuring accessibility.
  • Performance and Collaboration: Oversee content analytics, optimize for organic search, engagement, and conversions, and coordinate with translation, UX, SEO, and product teams.

Requirements based on the job description and role scope.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of professional writing, content strategy, or communications with a strong digital portfolio.
  • 3–5+ years leading editorial teams or managing writers/editors; experience with agencies or large-scale content ops preferred.
  • Proven track record driving organic search growth, content strategy, or brand storytelling for a large consumer-facing brand.
  • SEO expertise, keyword strategy, and content optimization experience.

Preferred experience to strengthen fit.

  • Hospitality, travel, or destination content experience.
  • Experience in multi-brand environments or loyalty programs.
