Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a global team consisting of the following functions: global demand generation, regional marketing (North America, Latin America, EMEA, APAC, Japan), customer and Channel partner marketing. You will provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
  • Design, execute, and scale a unified, global demand generation strategy utilizing full-funnel integrated campaigns that cut through the noise and capture enterprise demand. Oversee multi-channel activation strategies across digital marketing (paid media, SEO, SEM, content syndication), highly targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) for strategic accounts, and high-impact global and regional events.
  • Forge a tight, locked-step partnership with the Global Enterprise Sales leadership team, aligning marketing strategies directly with sales targets, territories, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Partner with the Customer Success and Account Management teams to build a robust post-sale customer marketing engine that drives continuous user engagement and platform adoption. Develop targeted lifecycle campaigns designed to fuel cross-sell and upsell opportunities, directly impacting Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Build a formal customer advocacy program to turn our most successful enterprise clients into vocal brand champions, generating high-value case studies, testimonials, and peer-to-peer references.
  • Design and execute marketing strategies that leverage Coursera’s strategic enterprise partners, including system integrators (SIs), technology partners, and global distributors. Develop joint value propositions, co-marketing campaigns, and "market-with" initiatives to drive pipeline expansion and accelerate deal velocity within the partner ecosystem. Create and distribute partner-enablement toolkits, assets, and playbooks to ensure partner sales teams can effectively position and sell Coursera’s enterprise solution
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs, providing regular reports and analysis to senior leadership through formal (MBR and QBRs) and informal reviews. Move beyond vanity metrics; take shared accountability for revenue targets by focusing ruthlessly on pipeline quality, stage-to-stage velocity, and high conversion rates to closed-won revenue.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on marketing investments. Optimize LTV/CAC.
  • Develop impactful communication channels, forums and feedback loops to share marketing plans, progress and performance to goals with cross-functional leadership.
