Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Communication Strategy: Take full ownership of TurboTenant's communication platforms (Customer.io, Intercom, etc.), engaging customers via email, SMS, in-product messages, and push notifications.
  • Adoption & Engagement: Drive adoption of mission-critical features by delivering the right message to the right audience at the right time.
  • Segmentation Mastery: Identify, create, and maintain key customer segments, pulling in new data sets to identify and target different types of customers.
  • Build & Optimize: Design, build, and QA emails and SMS messages while continuously A/B testing communications to increase effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Design, Product, and Engineering teams to create new opportunities and seamless experiences for our customers.
  • Quality Excellence: Define and strengthen QA processes to ensure every lifecycle send is reliable, accurate, and high-quality.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience owning and managing an organization's communication methods and engaging users over long periods to communicate value.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: A passion for clear, concise communication backed by the smart use of data and analytics.
  • Technical Savvy: Strong knowledge of modern ESPs (Braze, Customer.io, Iterable, Klaviyo) for SaaS applications.
  • Creative Execution: Strong copywriting skills and a sharp eye for email design and rendering quality.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A proactive approach to working cross-functionally with Product, CX, Engineering, and Data teams.

Preferred

  • Code Proficiency: You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to troubleshoot code in HTML/CSS for email templates.
  • Real Estate Expertise: Experience as a landlord, investor, or real estate agent is a major plus.
  • AI-Native Workflow: You use AI tools to accelerate your productivity, copywriting, and technical analysis.
