Senior Account Manager, Retail Media

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day retail media lead for assigned clients, building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and working in partnership with Client Leads, Account Directors, and other channel specialists
• Develop a strong understanding of clients' business objectives, product portfolios, retail partnerships, and e-commerce strategies
• Align campaign management and channel strategy with client business goals, actively managing and supervising strategy, budgets, flighting, learning agendas, and the delivery and application of insights
• Develop and oversee retail media strategies across endemic platforms including Amazon Sponsored Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Instacart Ads, and similar platforms, as well as retail-focused programmatic activation
• Use in-platform expertise and performance data to identify optimization opportunities, inform strategic recommendations, and drive campaign performance
• Proactively develop performance forecasts, budget recommendations, and optimization strategies to meet and exceed client KPIs
• Lead the development and application of campaign insights, ensuring learnings are translated into clear recommendations and future strategy
• Collaborate with analytics teams on measurement approaches including incrementality testing, closed-loop attribution, and retail media lift studies
• Manage client expectations, proactively communicate risks and opportunities, and ensure work is delivered to a high standard and in line with agreed SOW SLAs
• Stay current on retail media trends, platform developments, and emerging opportunities, identifying ways to bring new thinking and value to clients

Preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing retail search across endemic platforms such as Amazon, Walmart Connect, Roundel, or similar
• Exposure to or experience managing upper-funnel retail-focused programmatic buying such as Amazon DSP, Walmart DSP, or Trade Desk retail partnerships
• Strong understanding of retail media measurement, including incrementality, closed-loop attribution, and platform-specific analytics capabilities like Amazon Marketing Cloud
• Demonstrated experience with retail media management platforms such as Pacvue, Skai, Stackline, or similar
• Familiarity with commerce media strategy and retail partnerships
• Experience contributing to new business pitches, account audits, or practice development initiatives
• Ability to translate complex retail media concepts and performance data into clear, strategic narratives for clients and stakeholders
• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to manage client expectations and build trusted client relationships
