Job Description

Responsibilities

E-Commerce P&L Ownership
Own revenue, spend, and contribution margin for the SEEQ DTC website and build the monthly forecast alongside Finance.
Manage the channel to a profitability threshold and know return on ad spend required to achieve both topline revenue and bottom line goals.
Own the DTC promotional calendar within company pricing and promotional guardrails, protecting the full-price anchor and preventing cross-channel price conflict.
Own storefront merchandising: collections page architecture, product page content, bundles, cross-sell opportunities, and offer placement.
Partner with Operations and third-party logistics partner on fulfillment cost per unit, shipping offers, package protection, and delivery experience.
Own DTC launch execution for new items and renovations against the company launch checklist, including inventory location assignment and pre-launch quality assurance.
Subscription Growth & Retention
Own active subscribers, net subscription flow, churn rates by month, and new-to-cancel ratios as primary scorecard.
Rebuild the subscriber acquisition path: first-order offer, starter bundles, dedicated subscription landing pages, and the opt-in experience at checkout.

Requirements

6-10 years in E-commerce, DTC growth, or retention marketing, with at least 2 years owning a channel P&L
CPG, food, beverage, or supplement experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated subscription program experience – you have run a subscriber base through a period when it was shrinking and returned it to growth
Hands-on platform fluency: Shopify, subscription platforms (Recharge, Skio, Stay, or comparable), Klaviyo, Postscript, GA, TripleWhale, Okendo, PostPilot, PaperRun, etc.
A track record of inspiring and coaching agency partners to perform and outdeliver
Comfort with a profitability mandate
Amazon literacy to steer agency counterpart: Seller Central, Subscribe & Save, advertising fee economics, promotional levers, reviews, A+ content, and inventory
Numerical honesty to know your business well and have the ability to tell leadership when a plan is not working with a proposed solution
Exceptional project management rigor: you can build a timeline, run a meeting that ends in decisions, and drive accountability internally and externally
Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate analysis, reporting, and marketing operations

Preferred

Experience at a brand that crossed over from e-commerce-led to retail-led
Real understanding of how owned channels support retail rather than compete with it
A conversion rate optimization playbook that you directly created and owned
Experience standing up a loyalty or referral program end to end
Experience winding down or restructuring a marketplace channel
A personal desire to work in active nutrition, wellness, or at an emerging brand
