Remote Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the marketing team by setting priorities, assigning responsibilities, developing team members, and ensuring timely, high-quality execution
• Develop and implement the annual marketing and communications plan in alignment with company growth objectives
• Strengthen Orbital's brand, messaging, and market positioning across platforms and communications
• Manage the company website, including content, functionality, user experience, analytics, and ongoing optimization
• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility, website traffic, and qualified business opportunities
• Lead social media strategy, primarily focusing on LinkedIn and other relevant B2B platforms
• Manage LinkedIn profiles and thought-leadership strategies for multiple executives and senior leaders
• Collaborate with executives and subject matter experts to create industry insights, articles, posts, presentations, and other thought-leadership content
• Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns for strategic markets, service lines, clients, and business development initiatives
• Partner with Business Development and operational leaders to create marketing materials, case studies, project profiles, presentations, proposals, and client-facing content

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field
• At least five years of progressive marketing and communications experience, preferably in engineering, consulting, construction, energy, utilities, industrial, or other B2B professional services environments
• Previous experience managing or leading marketing professionals
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies
• Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, website management, social media, analytics, and content strategy
• Experience managing executive social media profiles and developing thought-leadership content
• Experience managing conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and corporate events
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience working directly with executive leadership and senior business leaders
• Ability to understand complex technical services and translate them into clear, compelling marketing content
