Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Public Relations Specialist. The individual in this role will craft and distribute press releases, manage media relations, and develop and execute strategic communication plans to enhance brand visibility. Additionally, the specialist will build and maintain relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders to promote CARAVAN Wellness's mission and services. They will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of public relations strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in Public Relations and Media Relations, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Proficiency in crafting Press Releases and executing Strategic Communications plans that align with organizational goals and enhance brand awareness.
• Strong written and verbal Communication skills, with the ability to convey messages effectively and professionally.
• Understanding of digital PR strategies and experience leveraging various communication channels, including social media, to engage audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines consistently.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail in developing and implementing PR campaigns.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with the health and wellness industry or global content engagement solutions is an added advantage.
