Responsibilities

• Proposal Development & Procurement Support
• Monitor and track RFQ/RFP opportunities, addenda, submission deadlines, and other procurement-related information.
• Read and analyze RFQs/RFPs to identify response requirements, evaluation criteria, compliance items, and resources needed to respond.
• Coordinate proposal development from kickoff through final submission, including schedules, content planning, assignments, reviews, revisions, production, and electronic uploads.
• Facilitate the development of strategic proposal materials for government agencies and private-sector clients.
• Coordinate with project managers, technical staff, leadership, subconsultants, and teaming partners to obtain and organize required information.
• Maintain proposal compliance and help ensure submissions are complete, accurate, responsive, and professionally presented.
• Writing, Editing & Content Development
• Write, edit, proofread, and refine proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity, responsiveness, and compliance with solicitation requirements.
• Integrate technical information provided by subject-matter experts into clear, persuasive, and well-organized proposal content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in proposal development, marketing, business development, communications, or a related professional-services environment preferred.
• AEC, civil engineering, architecture, transportation, or other professional-services experience is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and written-communication skills.
• Strong graphic-design aptitude and visual-communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and non-negotiable submission requirements.
• Proactive, self-directed, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical staff, leadership, and external partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain professional and composed in deadline-driven situations.
• Experience or demonstrated aptitude using generative AI tools for writing, editing, proposal development, research support, graphics, and content creation is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work additional hours occasionally when proposal deadlines require.
